Homeless real(i)ty

2003-2006,  60x80 cm, digital prints

In the series Homeless Reality I does not point out to a social problem of homelessness but I captures their dwellings in photographs of bright, vivid and exaggerated colours. With reverence I reflected the invention of homeless people when creating their “houses” using the waste of the social majority. Using a visual and a language of tourist guides, I incorporated into photographs of homeless` dwellings the icons informing us about striking vistas, swimming etc. in these, in principle, bleak areas. The series of the photographs does not include their inhabitants
in order to avoid sociographical cliché and by its overall realization becomes a paraphrase of campaigns organized by tourist agencies.
